Went and saw a pre-screening of the movie last night. Pretty good, definitely entertaining though the dream / dance cut any scenes feel more like just a movie video game level then adding to the movie any. But the visual effects are so good that you don't care. Also, there's tons of super hot girls in it haha. The girlfriend enjoyed it as-well. Win Win!!

Dont go expecting a storyline - also no character development. But Good overall.

i thought the movie was bleh, total disregard for a decent plot and the pacing was horrible. The effects and action scenes were on point as expected from a zac snyder film though.

I think it has a PG-13 rating. For those who have seen it would you consider it appropriate for girls age 9-12? Both my girls are dying to see it but I wonder if I should hold off taking them.

I dont have any children, but I believe this is not a movie for them. Unless your ok with them seeing scantily clad women running around

9-12? No, unless you are very open to your girls about sexual subject matters like rape, whores and abuses to women. You can definitely tell they tone it down to get PG13.

I have to agree that pacing is off but movie is enjoyable. Better than Battle:LA . The attempted mindfuck is somewhat successful.

Not worth the extra $3 for AVX tho. The movie is shot on film which kind of a waste for digital projection.

The only good part that made me chuckle and that I honestly thought was well done was when:

the old fat guy with the cigar and gold lighter came in the theatre and it was in slow motion all focused on him and the music and everything about the scene made him (a fatass old man) look pimp as hell

Other than that, c'mon..

White guy in Chinese temple and then shows the girl a sword, and then a fucking pistol? lol.. Stupid
