Signing up for promos just for Airmiles; is it worth the hassle?

and I will be able to get 10000-15000 aeroplan miles.

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried signing up for these just to get the and bailout once you are credited?

You mean aero miles...which are different than air miles. Read the fine print, you probably have to hold the card a certain amount of time to get the aeromiles
