Did Mazda 3 fix their lock problems?

Have there been any reports on the locks in Mazda 3's having that problem where you hit it hard enough that it pops open?

Though I'm under the assumption they have fixed it now for the 2009/2010 models, but does anyone know for real whether or not it has been?
