View Full Version : Best insurance company to go with after a previous DUI?

just wondering if there are insurance companies out there that have better rates with a dui conviction. I got my dui( stupidest mistake of my life!!!!) in feb 2008 and was wondering anyone else out there who are in the same boat as me that can help me out, thanks.

I believe the only company you can go with is Facility Association so Nordic Insurance.

From my knowledge only 2 companies in Alberta will take you.


Both are Facility companies.

Nordic or Royal Sun Allaince

Most brokers can quote you - one or the other.

Nordic is the insurance company

Diamond is a brokerage.


Just like Sony is a brand & Future Shop is a retailer.


Nordic is the manufacturer, Diamond is the retailer.

Your DUI will be off next year. Best bet is to cancel your exisitng policy once your conviction hits 3 years!
