Spotted this unknown hot rod in the Bridlewood Shopping Centre parking lot this afternoon. Amazing build with wood floor boards, projector head lights, chromed steel seats - appeared to be a truly one-off piece...

I saw that a few weeks ago cruisin on 64ave NW. Couple young guys in it. Not normally my favorite type of car, but that one is just too sick. Looks like a hot wheels toy.

Hot and ugly, I absolutely love some things about it and hate others, side profile is sick but front is awful, kind of reminds me of a black gumby or something.

I've seen it several times - youngish blonde guy driving it. Looks pretty interesting - if it's a scratch build that's pretty darn impressive.

Needs larger tires in the rear though.

Btw, how come nobody ever spots me when I go driving by that area :(

Not my kind of car either, but that looks sick!

Those seats don't look comfortable at ALL.

Not a fan of the headlights but overall love how it looks. Wouldn't mind owning one for sure.

That looks awesome.

I've often wondered if the fender and bumper law's apply to hot rod's? or do the cops just ignore them?

yeah, those seats are pretty ridiculous - would be super hot after sitting in the sun, and who wants their buddy to slide into your lap when you make a right turn... i guess its 3 lefts to make a right when theres a guy in the passenger seat... no wait, then you end up on his lap... this is a lose - lose situation:dunno:

time for some new seats bud...

You know the one I'm talking about right? It was always parked up by the POV condos just north of your place. It even had the same projectors on it.

looking at (from what you can see) the suspension pickup points it does look pretty similar to the Prowler. Huh - i'd always just assumed it was a scratch build. Regardless, that'd be one heck of a lot of bodywork to go from Prowler to that. And then the interior...!

you sound like the biggest dbag driver in Calgary. No wonder there's so many shitty drivers.
those features are there for safety purposes, maybe it'll be funny when you hit a car while you were changing lanes, weren't shoulder checking or being able to see because of the lack of mirrors. Companies would love to save hundreds of dollars to not provide mirrors. You're a noob

As for the car. It was at World of Wheels this past year. I don't know the full details, but to me it looks like it could be a 32 kit. Either way... Well done IMO.

He was at the MR.Detail car show on the 25th

Full off himself, tattood asshat.

Tried asking him about it but he was too cool for anybody down there.

Ass driver, Shitty car. If i thought it was nice earlier, the attraction just went all away if the driver is a complete dink.

there's a '32 roadster here in Drum that's working the dry lakes look, and he's got the steelies/dog dish hubcap/ high profile tires going on. No whitewalls, but it still looks way better.
Also has an upholstered bench, which looks way better.

My first thought was "modded Prowler" but it actually looks good, unlike a Prowler...

^^ hey those Prowlers are pretty cool coming from the Big 3 but they are way underpowered! They should of had a "Hemi" BTW I like that car in the pics 32 Ford maybe? alot of $$$ spent there, thats for sure. Too bad he's a douche.... otherwise I'd say nice work.
