My friend and I picked it up yesterday from California with my truck and trailer and hauled it back to Arizona. It is unreal, the attention to detail is second to none (maybe a Zonda but you get the idea).

Here is a short video from my friends phone, the sound actually captured nicely.

I was 13 years old when the F355 came out. I told myself I would have one someday. When I reached my 20's my realistic goal was to have it before I was 30. After I bought the Champ Car I gave up on that goal and figured I had bettered it. Well I'll be 29 in October and the car is parked in my garage now. It feels incredible driving the car, it is truly a work of art/mechanical engineering on wheels.

Good for you for doing something with your goals, not just "talk" like most of us would... and sounds like you're happy with it. May you enjoy many many many blowjobs in it. :burnout:

Awesome, well done. You and I actually share a similar goal. Tell myself everyday that before I hit 30, I'll own either a Murcielago or at least some sort of a super car. And I know I will.

Beautiful car, congrats.

Nope never read that book, although heard quite a lot about it. That's just how I've always been with my goals I suppose. Everything I've done/achieved so far. Just visualize that bitch and go for it.

Stories like OP's are just awesome, cause they show if you can dream it, you can achieve it.

when I was 18 I wanted a prelude sooooo fucking bad. I woke up everyday thinking about it, visualizing it. I turned 21, and got it, finally, a 01 Prelude SE, without financing it. this is before I read the secret.

All the stuff your talking about, is in there, the book teaches you straight up, about how to use the power of visualization, to get anything you want. course theres more to it then that, bet you the OP read it. you should read it too man, you sound like a smart guy. it'll improve your chances on that car, believ me

I read the book, watched the movie...honestly seems like a bunch a bullshit. You don't need to "continually visualize" something and put reminders and pictures everywhere in your life to be able to achieve something. It's an out of the box concept for sure that some people "claim" works. Personally I don't need a picture to remind me what I want, I don't need to wake up every morning and tell myself what I want, I simply just know. :dunno:

Lots of weird mystical stories in the book...bunch of BS if you ask me.

But anyway OP that is one amazing car, hopefully you didn't finance the thing I would be very impressed. Nothing better then achieveing a dream.

Good job on your achievement, such a beautiful car!

As to "the secret", the book and the documentuary are just quick takes on the philosophies based on heremetic principlces that take a lifelong commitment to interpriet, comprehend, digest and then adopt.
Going to one or two Psi (psy) conferences or reading this book is not going to alter your life... especially when you don't understand the undertones of the philosophy (and the philosophy) as to why these principles work.

Its just sensationalism... may work for a few

Going back to it... I love the car!
One thing I love about Ferrari's are that almost every model is a classic... The 348, 308, etc... are all awesome

Mine is to get a low mileage 993 C2 911... IMO the last good looking 911

It's not the most intelligent book written for sure...

People say there are "big" theories traced back centuries....on self-confidence/cockyness and having goals? No shit it's called human nature.

Great choice, anyone with money can buy an exotic, it's choosing a true classic like this over the other more modern choices that makes you a true car enthusiast in my opinion.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the comments.

The F355 is supposedly one of the most reliable Ferraris built and there are cars with over 70,000 miles out there. By that number my car is not quite halfway there. If I do about 2000 miles per year it should last me until I'm 60.

Either way being a goal it obviously wasn't handed to him and I'm sure he appreciates it just like any one of us would with such a beautiful car.
