Physical Address Extension in Windows XP?

Hey has anyone gotten the physical address extension to work in Windows XP? I googled how to do it, but my windows system settings still says I only have 2.75 GB of RAM (even though I have 4 GB of RAM). Just wondering if anyone else has tried this and has been able to utilize all 4 GB of RAM in Windows XP 32 bit.

It's a 32 bit machine.

PAE switch does not work in Windows XP, Only server 2003 products.

In which case, you will have to upgrade to 64 bit in order to see more than 4 GB of memory.

Ah okay, thanks for the help/advice guys. I thought PAE worked with Windows XP
