For sale I have my 1998 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. This car was parked last august because the 7bolt engine began to crankwalk. I never let the engine blow up, I just parked it, and waited for the funds to rebuild it. Unfortunately I was never able to get the funds necissary to do the build. I have a spare 6 bolt block that has been stripped down to nothing but the empty block, still have the pistons/rods/crank and any essentials needed to swap it into the '98, unfortunately the timing was snapped previously on this engine, so the pistons are most likely garbage since they've been smacked around a little. I scrapped the head cause I was just going to use the 7 bolt head strapped to the 6 bolt block.

I did the timing belt/water pump/tensioner all about 4k ago.

The car was sitting on 18" Montegi racing rims wrapped in 245/40ZR18 Nexxen tires, 2 have less then 1k km's on them, 2 have never touched road. These are not included in the sale. Price can be negotiated if you'd like them.

The body is 8/10 a few paint chips and a couple dings here and there, but overall very clean.
Extras : All the extra's to the 6 bolt and 7 bolt engine sitting around in boxes and totes, everything talon related I have will go with this car.

You're completley right.
The driver side shock tower has a loonie sized spot of rust, and that's the only rust I've found on this car.

Heres an engine bay pic. Can't really see the rust, but I can take a close up if need be, but what I said is true, only a loonie size spec of rust

Car is back up for sale, it's sitting on 14' steel rims now, rear driveline is disconnected and ready for towing.
