no doubt we should make gun ownership tougher with more laws... oh and background checks... perhaps some kind of registry will make it tougher for criminals to get guns?!?

sarcasm to point out the obvious flaws in legislating against criminal behavior... the fact that criminals wont go through legal means to get their guns in the first place.
