It's an 11 year old house, and the previous owners didn't leave any blueprints.

The home builder (Morrison) doesn't think they have them on file from that long ago.

Are they kept on file anywhere else?

Thanks
James

I don't know why Morrison wouldn't have them on file. When I worked at Avi, we had all the blueprints for all the houses we had built from the early 1980s to present.

Strange. Who did you talk to there?

I'm sure they have them stored away.

I'm sure they have them.... they just don't want to take the time to try to find them. Why do you need them?

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm in an older building that's clearly been renovated a few times and i'm wondering what's behind the walls because i want to do some work.

I would just like to have them so I can see what's behind the walls in the basement, as it was developed 5 years after the house was built.

I would also like to try and find out where the rough in is for the central vacuum system. I found an outlet on the main floor and upstairs, but can't figure out where the other rough in is for the big canister/motor. It's not in the garage that I can see, and I can't find it in the utility room in the basement.
