My insurance used to be 150 a month Now it's at 200 for no reason. Just pl pd on a talon... All I have is 1 unsafe turn ticket. 20 yr old. Which company would give a better rate?

What did your broker say was the reason for the increase?

They didn't say anything. I haven't had a ticket for almost 2 years so that's why I'm thinking of saying screw them

Shit doesn't go up like that for no reason at all. I suspect there may be a simple mistake on your policy. You might be able to save yourself a whole lot of screwing around just by picking up the phone, calling your "guy" and asking WTF.

Yeah, well either way it was under my parents name and I was paying them for it monthly. So I want to get my own policy anyways. I asked them why it went up and they say pay it or don't drive...

:werd: I am 25 and paying ~96/month liability on 1 car with TD MM, clean record and multi-product discount. Got some quotes from other companies and they were all within the same range.

due to my clean record, zero claims and family history (zero claims ever) i've been paying the 25+ y/o rates with my insurance co. since turning 23. Not unheard of...

edit: up until I bought my newer car I was paying about 60/mo for PLPD, now i'm just over 100$ with two vehicles.

I never realized how low your insurance can get with just PLPD. Mine would be 40/month with 1mill liability.
