Hi Everyone,
The very 1st Annual Calgary Chinatown Street Hockey Classic will be held at the Roger's 10th Annual Calgary Chinatown Street Festival happening on Saturday, Aug 14, 2010 celebrating the Centennial of Chinatown in Calgary. We are looking for players of all ages to come down and play a pick up game of street hockey and check all the other events happening at this years Chinatown Street Festival.
Cost: Free
Where: Chinatown (in front of Harry Hay's building)
Who: All ages - all participants must sign a waiver form at the register table before entering the cage. Participants under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian sign waiver.
Style of play: Drop in 3 on 3 pond street hockey style
Playing area: 32ft W by 60ft L
Equipment: All equipment will be provided for both adults and kids
Additonal:
Test your accuracy and hardest shot at the skills tent. Fastest person to knock down all 4 targets and hardest shot may win a prize to be announced later. As well the Calgary Hitmen promotion team will be on site to promote next year's World Junior Championship Tournament.
