spectacular as always. I really like all the temple shots...the last temple is my favorite, but the staircase on the right seems very odd.

I also like the olympic arena...very cool.

Wow man, amazing pictures. Looks to be a seriously nice place to visit. How did it go for you with visas and such? Any special things you had to do? How long did you go for?

Getting a Chinese Visa is easy, it can be done at the Chinese consulate in Calgary (4 days). Tibetan travel permits are only provided through a travel agency and only 5 days before they are to be used. I normal travel on my own, but because of this restriction I hired a driver through a travel agency. For a Canadian citizen getting a Tibetan permit shouldn't be difficult unless there is unrest in Tibet at the time, the boarder was closed to travelers in 2008 because of unrest. I spent 10 days in Tibet, 4 in Dalian for a conference and then a couple of days in Beijing as well.
