Alright, redoing my living room, so my favorite TV has to go. Can't wall mount her. Have to downgrade. Kind of sad. :(

JVC HD70FH97, 1080p, fully calibrated. 70" screen, awesome for sports. You can't get a TV this big anymore. Looks like this:

I read a review on this monster, and someone said the ports are JVC specific (can't plug in a sony camcorder) Internet BS or whats the deal?

That'd be BS. It's HDMI. It's a standard spec. My Sony laptop HDMI works just fine on it.

How old is the TV? does it have any warranty remaining?

edit: I see this thread is a few months old, is the TV even still around?

There's no warranty remaining on it. I'm still using it daily. It doesn't come with a stand.

I was thinking the other day that I'm almost doomed if it dies because they don't make them this big anymore.

The compatibility thing mentioned earlier might be with the Firewire port.
