Freshprince's Houston Spottings

This bad boy came up beside me and almost took out my tires with his Ben-Hur spoke grinders...hard to see from this angle, but the blades stuck out about 8 inches from the wheel. I've seen a few of these down here, thought I'd throw one up.

This Avalanche isn't too special, but it's not that often I see a truck done up like this where I actually think it looks good.

There's a ton of interesting cars down here, I decided I'll start posting some of them.

Came across this gorgeous Jaguar XJ-L at Pappadeaux. This beast is HUGE...and beautiful. Sorry for only one angle. I added a supplemental angle below.

Well, I've seen a ton of interesting cars, but have not been taking many pictures...gotta stay alert on those big Texas Highways.

Here's a sweet Buick...complete with excessive chrome, Chrysler wings and hood ornament that weighs as much as a horse.

Lotus came roaring past me on the Katy Freeway. And old guy and his old lady. Anyone guess what type of car I rented by the hood in the bottom corner of the picture?

Came out after a delicious Prime Rib at SaltGrass Steakhouse to see a new Cadillac CTS Coupe parked beside me. Don't let the BB picture dissuade, it is a very sharp looking car.

Sorry to mislead you Tomco. Prince is my last name...and I couldn't think of anything better to go with for a username when I created my first beyond account back in the university computer lab in '06.

What strikes me about houston everytime I'm there is how new all the cars are that people drive. You don't see people driving around in 90's shitboxes like you do up here.

I think that's the first DeLorean I've seen actually driving down the road. Sorry for the bad pic, I was on the highway heading downtown and had to take an action shot.

Don't tell the rental company I spent all day driving up and down the beaches, Surfside Beach, TX.

How about some of the mexican cars. those are pretty wild down there. and some of the Donk cars like a camero with monster 24-26" wheels. although you start to see more of those heading towards louisiana and alabama

Definately saw lots of those...thought they looked silly. Wasn't able to get any pictures though. But I remember this one old Monte Carlo with like 26" rims...the thing required jacked suspensiion in order to dit the rims in without rubbing on the wheel wells.
