I always thought Jav's were cool, a nice blend of the muscle cars back then.

I've yet to see one that's anything but bone stock.

Man, I always stayed away from AMC products I came across when I was younger for three reasons:

A) Slow
B) The TOP of the front fenders rust out
C) The alternator dummy light is always on

I looked at several, all had the same problems.

An Eagle would be cool to have though... my uncle used to own one and it was killer on Northern BC's snow covered backroads.

I can't get around the slow problem,
But my rambler has a good block its aluminum with a casthead and aluminum intake plate.
Its rust free
and to fix that gen problem I got rid of the old alternator and voltage box and swapped it for an acdelco interall regulated alternator
works perfect now
