This has probably been done before, but what was your first Vehicle?

Mine was a 1978 Mustang II ghia.

Yeah it was the lowest of the low in terms of model lineup. Power nothing, windows, steering, didn't even have a radio.
Got it high centered on a parking lot block one time and it took all of three people to pick up the back end.

It took three of you to lift a geo?

My chevette was a tank I jumped 60 feet into a snow ditch once then drove it home.

lol.

My first car: 74 Ford Maverick. I lodged it hard into a bank of snow from the grader when it failed to negotiate a turn. It too drove home just fine after the neighborhood helped to pull me out.

74. I'm dating myself! Granted, it was already a really old car back when I owned it too.)

I counted out the paces from where the tire tracks stopped.
So I could be off but still
it was pretty fun

Mine was a 1991 Pontiac Firefly 2 door hatch that I purchased in 1995... it had about 250,000 km, burned a little oil, had no power and was starting to rust out bad...

...but at the same time, I could get 3 weeks of driving around my hometown on a $15 fill, so it wasn't all bad.

Interestingly enough, my Dad ended up asking me if he could drive it one winter after I had retired it because his old F-250 was killing him on gas... and he drove that car for 7 years... lol...

In fact, he bought himself a Geo Metro once the Firefly finally died @ 300,000+ km.

1972 Toyota Celica GT

Got it at 14 and tinkered around with it for 2 years until I could drive it. When my parents were out I would take it for drives around the neighborhood.

I saved for over a year prior to buying it working my paper route, shoveling driveways, mowing lawns, etc. My cousin had a 80's celica at the time but I loved the body style of the older ones. The car was parked at one of the houses on my paper route and rarely moved. I talked with the guy quite a few times about it and finally made a deal with him for $900 cash and an $800 home stereo unit.
