Silent Pass & Quartz, B.C. - Dec 20 - 21st
Saturday:
Silent Pass was awesome. We parked at km 27. There were few people in the play area, infact we only saw a dozen people all day. There was powder above the knee, and a decent base. I only felt a couple bumps from somethings on my track. Avy conditions seemed good, we carving a nice trench across a dew slopes and there was no reaction (This doesn't mean everything was safe of course).
Sunday:
The trail to Quartz was had been groomed the night prior and we were the 1st ones on it. There was definatly less snow then at Silent Pass, and a lot more people as well. About a foot of powder was present. Hitting quite a few rocks, one while sidehilling which threw me off and another while turning downhill (in video). We headed back to the parking lot at 2:00 because it was getting a little boring compared to Silent Pass.
