IMO you will get no where near $1700 for that thing without a motor. I'm guessing its a GX since your putting GXL seats in it? New engines are around $3000.. :( Don't try to buy one of those used motors from Japan either because they are pretty much gunk unless you are planning on rebuilding it. They wont last long without a rebuild. Another member here on the forum is selling a used turbo motor, but putting a turbo motor in a NA is very costly.
My advise would be to try and part it out over the net and E-bay and you will make alot more if the car is in good shape.

If you are interested in parting out a few things i would be very interested!
Looking for

- PW motors if they work well
- rear strut hatch hydrualics
- Front window/rear tinted hatch
- Tires/rims
- Wiper switch and whiper arms if not rusted. Not blades
- Transmission if its in good shape
- All of your stereo stuff..

I'd have to agree with SAiamNE about the price but i would like to come and take a look. Do you have any more info about the car?

such as....

Year?
GX or GXL?
Mileage on body?
Amount of rust?
Location of rust?
Interior Color?
Condition of interior?
Exterior color?
Condition of Paint?
