Hi Folks,

I was just wondering if anybody has experience buying a car within Canada and having it shipped to Calgary via rail or truck?

I called CP Rail and they told me about Hansen's Forwarding so I am waiting on a quote from them. The car is located near Windsor, ON.

Also, would I still pay PST if I was buying a car in Ontario even though I am located in Alberta? Thanks as always!

I think you will still pay PST but can apply for a rebate for it from the provincial government. I dimly remember doing so on a trip to Ottawa once.
