Are you both looking for specific 2500K bulbs or just something fairly yellow for fogs?

Same here looking for something really yellow.

I know speedtech sells, but IMO speedtech is a ripoff with unfriendly people so don't like dealing with them.

I'll look around online. Maybe we can get a group buy as I'm looking to replace my stock H1 fogs with either 2500k yellows or 5000k whites.

I know there are a couple good bulb/LED dealers on a G35 forum. Would you guys be interested in doing a group buy, save a bit on shipping?

There are of course PIAAs which, are quite expensive, but seem to last longer and imo of higher quality than some of the other stuff on the market. $70-100/pair is steep still :(

I dealt with Speedtech awhile ago and was no impressed with their attitude, service or prices. This was probably 3-4 years ago, who knows if things have changed. Of course Autodream can probably get all this kinda stuff too.

Found a place while searching on the G35 forum. Were 44% off for H1's. The Nokya's were highly rated on the forum so I trust they're pretty good. And for the price it's fine, they match my wattages too.

I took the liberty of ordering you a pair of Nokya Hyper Yellow H1's, Type_S1, and a pair for myself. Total was 32.89 USD w/ shipping so they'll prob be ~$40 CDN + duty/tax (if any).

Found here:

Don't feel obligated to buy them, I can sell them here if you don't want them. dj_rice, I wasn't sure if you wanted the 1156 bulbs as they were not on sale...

I actually stumbled upon that site on Google but tried to call them and that # wasn't working, tried to email them and the link went dead, just wanted to make sure it was a legit company so I'll wait for yours to arrive before I Place an order

I got an order confirmation, likely automated but still, the site seems to be quite active. I'll keep you updated.

I'd use them again if I needed to. Shipping was reasonable as opposed to eBay and I got order and shipping confirmation. No tracking kinda sucks.

I don't know why you decided to do that, Type_S1, considering I had a new pair basically bought for you at 20/pair...lol.

Going to bump an ond thread to see if anyone has a good source of LED 1156 bulbs. My RV uses these for interior lights, and I'd love something that drew a bit less power.

The going rate online appears to be $17 a bulb, plus shipping. which isn't impressing me. Ebay has some sellers charging $12 a pair, with free shipping, which is more in my ballpark.

If I find a willing ebay seller I could look into a group buy. Anyone interested in that?

Looks like this was a useless thread bump.:banghead: When I re-sort my ebay listings, I see some for around $2.50 including shipping.
if anyone is interested, I'm looking at this one: ebay link - white 1156 LEB bulb (http://cgi.ebay.ca/1156-White-13-LED-5050-SMD-Turn-Signal-Light-Bulb-Lamp-/180695750223?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a124e564f#ht_5403wt_1140)

You may now go back to yur regularly scheduled programming . . . . . .:dunno:

I'm waiting on a buddy who ordered a few LED's for his interior lights. I'm not worrying about replacing the exteriors, since they're only used when tied to the car. One thing I did learn, buy the lights that match the color you're going for, or they may be too dim in the day.

I've ordered from these guys before, and they were good.

Just ordered nine from ebay. an assortment of different LED counts and colours for $23 total including shipping. I'm pleased with that price. I assume it'll be the stander four week shipping, which isn't ideal, but I can live with that. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised with how fast things can come from Hong Kong.
