amp for kappas?

I was thinking of upgrading my factory speakers with infinity kappas. but im on a tight budget and i was wondering if i would need an amp to power them. or could i just run them off a deck?

you can rn them off a deck, like anything but for full potentail ull need an amp :)

I have Kappa 6.5's and 6x9's in my car...the 6x9's aren't installed yet but I've been running the 6.5's off the deck forever...well before my deck got jacked anyways.

But like tegdream said if you want the speakers to perform how they're supposed to get a seperate amp to run those bad boys.

They sounded pretty clear....they are Infinity's so they're gonna sound pretty good either way.

The deck wouldn't provide enough power to make them sound the way they're supposed to but it still sounded good.
