So I'd like to get a hitch mounted rack but I don't think it would work with my bike, I have a p3

Do I need to go roof mount and strap the bike on the rack through the tires?

thanks

A Hitch mounted rack like this should work for you:

Swagman XTC available at MEC as well as other stores.

I have this rack which I bought at MEC and it seems pretty good. However I will be returning mine because it is almost impossible to get in and out of my receiver, its way too tight. In fact it is stuck on my car right now. But I assume that this is just a fluke thing and perhaps I got a defective one, because almost all reviews I have read are positive.

Anyways this style of rack should work with your bike and almost any type of bike. Canadian Tire also sell a similar rack of a different brand, as do a few other stores.
