Sorry not sure what I did to violate the rules the first time. Assuming it might be the link.

Anyways can someone confirm with me that Allmakes Auto Repair is 41 ave ne? The location is marked differently in google maps.

Thanks.

Really? I went looking for that place because of an earlier beyond thread I found that says the place is pretty good for Subies.

What makes you say that? Everytime I have been there (mainly just for oil changes but a couple other major repairs) I have had amazing service. They know what they are doing and have been in business for a long time. Shiraz always chats with me and you feel like a valued customer.

For the OP I believe the address you have is the right one, but the number is still the same so I would just call to confirm. 291-2291.

they did my buddy's timing belt in his subbie. And it just went haywire from there. blew the motor. then they rebuilt another one for him, then it blew again. this time he`s on his third motor which is still having issues.

as far as im concerned, there is no good subaru mechanic left in calgary now that option is closed. take your business to vex in red deer

And they won't even warranty or own up to any of their mistakes. Went as far as to shout at him to gtfo of their shop in front of customers.

Definitely take it to VEX, they're coming down here soon too ;)

It is on 41st ave between edmonton trail and centre st. By the Totem. I saw the sign that they were opening soon when I went by 2-3 weeks ago.

Update:

Got my car checked out at Allmakes. Friendly service and was quick to the point, he basically found a bunch of things that the seller didn't tell me about and explained to me (I'm not a car guy) how everything went in the report. I don't have the mechanical knowledge to verify if his claims were true or not vs seller opinion though, but since I paid for inspection I'm going along with the report.
