I'm just finishing up my hardwood floor install, and I'm looking for some flat beading to use as trim around the edges.

I really like the look of this, as opposed to traditional quarter round. Anyone know where to get this locally or online?

Why not cover it with the baseboard? Have the expansion joint under the drywall / baseboard? Unless your room is 40 feet wide you dont need anymore than 1/2 inch.

You don't use baseboard around cabinets in the kitchen and such.
