Audi S4 climate control issues

I just had my car in the shop and since I picked it up I'm having an issue with the climate control:

The heater stays on constantly and is non responsive to manual input. When I press the buttons to redirect the air flow, turn it off, or change temperature, it just continues blowing at the same temperature through the same vents. Additionally, the front and rear defrost will randomly turn on and off.

Any helpful feedback appreciated.

Did you take the car to the shop with this issue pre-existing?

Sounds like a button is stuck..... does the display change when you hit other buttons?

Display changes for a few seconds sometimes then goes back to the original settings. Most of the time, however, it just ignores the input altogether. The car didn't have that issue before it went in.

Sounds like a new auto climate control unit for you. Can't say i've ever seen one fixed any other way. In my expierence with VW/AUDI control units.
