just bought a 2000 TL and looking to throw on some 18x7.5, possible 18x8 and im wondering if anyone knows what offset would work without them rubbing. its not lowered but i will possibly lower it an inch or so in the future. thanks.

You can do 18/19x9 all around

+40-45 front
+30~ rear

run 225/35 all around

without rubbing or do i have to roll the fenders? im not really looking to spend a ton of dough on wheels and i know staggered wheels the ones i want anyways arent cheap.

On my 2000 TL, I had 19X7.5 +42 offset with 235/35/19's and rolled fenders with no rubbing. I was running Yokohama's with a square side wall compared to other brands.

here is a couples pics of the TL with 19's:

Depends on how aggressive you want to run but here is a general rule of thumb for these cars: these are the minimum offsets.

7" rim = +42 offset
7.5" rim = +45 offset
8" rim = +48 offset

> 8.5" rim ... custom bodywork for it to fit and camber.

edit: your TL looks killer mine looks identical but stock unfortunately. what mods do you have on it?

2000 TL do you have a deck in and if so, did you lose the OEM Bose sub or were you able to bypass the OEM amp and still use it or what?

the setup i told you about might rub a touch if you slam the car. but it will look bad ass

I would suggest rolling the fenders anyways.

These are my mods right now:
|| Function & Form I Coilover || Mesh Grill || Tint || Spoiler || Injen Short Ram Intake || Comptech Rear Camber Kit || OEM Body Kit || 19" RH Evo C2 w/ 235/35/19 Yokohama AVS Sport || 02-03 Tail lights

I used to have the Apexi WSII coilovers and was slammed on them.

I don't have a deck. I use the ipod adapter and plugged it into the back of the cd changer port at the back so I can use my ipod. Still have function of the deck, sub and steering wheel functions.

You can probably find one online for cheaper, but I got mine a long time ago (probably 6 years ago) from future shop.

All you do is take off the side panel, a few screws, pull out and reach your hand around the back. There is an empty slot for a cd changer port. Just plug in and screw back the panel.

lol yea the ff1 you can make it sit on the floor, but my e92 is already slammed. I had the TL already slammed for about 8 years now. Just recently raised it.
