Mini me. Is a vtec head on a non vtec block.
It's basicly a civic si engine

What bottom end? and which head did the el come with?

d16y7 block (stock civic block)
d18y8 head (from 1.6 acura el)


the block is the same on a y8 as a y7 but the head and intake manifold are different. Apparently it is a 24hp bolt on. And i have noticed a difference in power and the redline is now 7600 not 6900. zippy car.
