Check this Arcade Fire + Google Chrome super experiment posted today.

This was awesome. Mind still blown. The site where the work was posted is Chrome Experiments and there is a ton of cool stuff there to keep you occupied for hours.

Pretty cool, used a recent/current address due to needing street view.

Wow that was really laggy with firefox, it opened like 7 pop ups too. Couldn't see what all the popups were either. So it's suppose to show a video of a kid running on a street and then another window would be show google maps moving along your street slowly?

Sort of. I thought it was awesome as fuck. It'll probably only work with Google Chrome...since that's what the experiment was MADE for

It's suppose to open the windows.....just leave them and don't try to close them and move them around. The multiple windows will open and close themselves as the movie plays

I think the pop ups were the idea behind the experience...

Anyway, that was pretty sweet!

worked fine for me on safari with a dual core macbook pro running from a 30" display (2560x1600)

Yea....from what i can tell it really only works on chrome and Safari (but everybody should be using chrome anyways :D)

and yes the popups are what runs the experience
