So I was parking at school and of course did not remember how f*cking small the spaces are, so as I was parking between a car and the curb, I had my music going... somehow I managed to do this and did not hear, or feel it:

http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/1491/img00070201008311612.th.jpg (http://img62.imageshack.us/i/img00070201008311612.jpg/)

So, I was wondering how the heck I can fix this? I was thinking bringing it to some wheel shop (reputable, of course,) and get it sanded down lightly then repaint... where is there a shop like this? Does TunerWorks or UrbanX do anything like this?

Cheers,
Liam.

:whocares: What's it to you what someone drives?

So, why I was asking is because from the looks of it, Alberta Wheel Repair strips the whole wheel down then repaints it... I was looking for someone that can work on a MATTE finish, and just sands it down smooth then repaints and recoats.

Most will think, oh, well thats just normal wear and tear, but on a black wheel curb rash looks awful.

maybe some bodyshop will fix wheels too :dunno:

If it's minor, just get some fine sand paper, smooth it
down and paint it.

This shit keeps coming up on Beyond.

Who cares what people drive? It's none of any of our business why each one of us drive what we do, or how successful, non -succesful people are. This is a car forum for car enthusiasts treat is as such.

Not every one lands in the "most" category, and apparently not everyone spells "alone" the same. Funny either way.

OP: Alberta Wheel repair does good work. Don't bother pissing around on it yourself.

If it's not that bad then yeah they should be able to sand it smooth and paint it, but it's a gamble on how it's going to match and you will probably see a bit of overlap on the painting part if you look close. Quality of the repair will depend on how much you want to pay. There is also a guy that has a mobile service I believe, just check superpages for it.

What's with the paragraph breaks? Trying to write a Haiku or something?

OP: This can be fixed. I've seen tutorials online where people have filled it and painted it right up, and it looked like new.

If you're not that handy, then yeah, you'll have to go to a wheel repair place. Or, if you're just cheap (and in school), go at 'er with a paintbrush.

TBH, I really don't care if it looks overlapped or slightly different color, it will look way better than it does now.

What if he is 25 and just finishing his Masters? What if he is 20 and just pissing around at SAIT because his parents want him to do something? What if he is 17 and just starting up grade 12? What if he's 45 and taking a mandatory First-Aid class he calls school?

Why can't people just get on with what they have, or do something to make their situation better?

FACT: Someone will always be doing better than ourselves. Suck it up, or go get it.

I do agree with you though Kona, I see a few people I went to HS doing well right now. I fucked around for two years and have no one to really blame except myself, can only finish school a bit later and get a job I like. Not really anyones job to care if someones parents give them stuff.

What's to say he's not 59 and a professor? Who care what's he drives and why judge him because of it - hell, we got multi-millionaires who come into our shop who drive just ordinary Chevy trucks. Geez, the OP could've won the car for all we know. Does it matter?

PM inline6turbo. She had Andre (I think) do my 19" CSL rep that I did pretty much the same thing to. Came out perfect. My wheels are gunmetal.

Alberta Wheel repair did my rims after I curbed the shit out of them. It came out so good, I thought they went out and bought a new one for me!

Have patience though, it took them 3 months to fix mine last time. :dunno:

Well if they are so rich why not buy a new wheel as repairs I've seen done in this city are hit and miss.

Used mobile wheel repair for a painted wheel on my Z. They had it done in 24 hours and it looks great.
Might even consider redoing the other 3 just to clean them up:dunno:
