sort of 1+, but the blazer looks like a race vehicle, SRT8 looks like a total sleeper, stock SRT rims and AWD system still entact.

Not that the blazer isn't retarded quick, the SRT8 is just a little more surprising considering how heavy those pigs are and how crappy the aftermarket mods are for the Dodge motors vs. GM.

Trailblazer came in either RWD and AWD. The RWD are obviously the more popular choice for high horsepower drag machines. The GCSTR8 can't be much heavier than a TBSS AWD. I've been reading that the GC Hemi's don't respond as well to aftermarket stuff... I'll give him that much for sure, that JCSRT8 has the sleeper look down with the OE rims and all but I'm thinking it must have a cage inside and wonder what it looks like on the inside.

add: Looks like TBSS AWD is 4650lbs (4550 for RWD I think)
JCSRT8 4819lbs

Thats sick. 1500 horse, turbocharged 426 stroker with nitrous.

At least this guy did it right, not like the last one who blew his trans all over the inside.

That's not what happened. colinxx235 stated he was upset/mad that his parents didn't get him that car. So hence the responses

nah, choked was just a figure of speech... I was just really excited that it was the plan for my future vehicle. The replacement I get next summer is an 09 escalade, so life isn't all that bad... its just a massive tank is all =P

but yes, the instant replies were quite hilarious to read...

Just cause your parents buy a vehicle doesn't mean it's yours or they bought it for you

I'm glad I could buy my own SRT and not have to wait for my parents to hand one down to me.

That's not true. Tune, CAI, exhaust...typically result in mileage improvements on LSx motors

Mostly because I view it different than most others. I couldn't care less if someone was mad that my parents will be helping me out greatly with my mortgage once I'm graduated, or that they purchase me vehicles... it makes my life easier. My parents have the financial stability that they can do such things, same thing how legiit got ripped into for being a student with a M3. I drive the escalade around a good percentage of the time, and it greatly upsets jealous people on the road. I have a tendency to point and laugh at said upset/angry people... it is amusing. So ya... the people in this thread can continue to make fun of how I'm burdened by my parents generosity and how hard my life is

I dont think people are ripping you on your financial position, but rather the fact that you seem like the typical douche kid who flashes their parents' money around. Also the fact that you randomly bring up how you got an Escalade or that your parents' are doing your mortgage for you...which is outside the point of the thread. The fact of you admitting that you like to point and laugh at jealous people pretty much sums up your character.

But keep it up though, this is more entertaining than the SRT8 jeep video

My supervisor has a 2010 srt-8 Cherokee that he just had a Vortec supercharger put on and tuned by Davenport. He put down 595 hp to the rear wheels and an equal amount of torque. It is a beast. He is having headers installed at Davenport also next set of days off. They gave him a pretty decent estimate on building him a stroker for it this winter also. The man has more money than brains..

Is he planning on racing the Jeep? Any info on his other mods?

I would be very interested to see it run if its ever at RC.

Does the SRT8 come with the same 5.7L Hemi that you can get in the Commander? My wife just got a Commander w/5.7L Hemi while her car is in the shop getting hail damage repaired. It's got really good pickup but hit's redline way too soon and the automatic can't shift fast enough.

I'm upset and angry that your parents are so cheap that the best they could do for their son is a Chevy Sport-ute with a Cadillac badge.:whipped: Cheap bastards.

SRT8 comes with a 6.1L engine.

although the 5.7 Hemi in the GC i used to drive had a similar issue with slow shifting as well...

He probably won't ever be racing it, he just has more money than brains.LOL I know he has a 3" exhaust on it but am not too sure of the brand, he had a cold air intake on it but obviously that is no longer there because he is now supercharged. Headers are getting installed in the next week and then he is either stroking his current motor or buying another motor already done to the specs Davanports standards.
