Photo developers / print shops

My wife and I have got a lot a great shots we want to turn into wall art for our house. Can anyone recommend a good print shop w/ reasonable prices? We've been told everything from London Drugs to boutiques such as ABL printing.

What kind of wall art? Photo prints? Canvas? Metallic prints? Specialty papers?

Primarily photo prints of various sizes (maybe 85% of our prints will be this type), we would like to do the odd metallic print (5% of our pictures). We've also played around with the idea of having a few special prints done with a sheet of plexiglass over it (similar to http://www.prophotomounts.com/main.htm) but we don't know of a local shop that does this plexi-glass mounting.

Ideally, it would be good to go to a shop that can do all 3 but some shops are probably better than others in certain printing techniques.
