mitsubishi warranty?

I've been looking all morning for a definitive answer on whether or not the 10yr/160K powertrain warranty is transferrable to the second owner of a vehicle. I know in the states it is not, are they strict in canada as well? everyone who has been selling their lancers are trying to sell the long warranty along with it. (non-evo)

i would also love to know i bought a car with 10yr warranty, and would love to know if i have the 10yr warranty.

I know Mitsubishi's official warranty information says it only applies to the original owner of the new vehicle, but I don't know how enforced it is.
