The 98-00 Honda Civic or 97-00 Acura EL never came with an in-cabin air filter, but one can easily be installed behind the glove box in the empty slot perfectly.
One would need to buy the Filter Frame, Seal and Filter. I have all 3 for sale.
Many people do not know that this inexpensive mod even exists. I have installed it, and noticed a difference. Cleaner fresh air blows in, no little bits of leaves blow in, and there's considerably less dust accumulating on the interior surfaces of the car.

This is where the assembly fits behind the glovebox.

Any Questions, Feel free to ask.
Price: $55 Brand New. Save at least $25 from the
dealer.
*Note: This only works on trim models with Air-conditioning.
