Ac Removal***Help***

Does anyone know how to take the Ac system minus the heating out of a 1998 Honda Prelude. I need to lighten up this car bad!

Go to a garage...they have to purge the regiferant out of your A/C system...then proceed to remov components...Evaporator, Condesner...all Misc. Parts that are associated, and hard lines as well...I dont know Hondas to well either...but you may have to get a shorter drive belt to compensate for the A/C pulley not being there...

What do you think? Is it my only chance to lighten up my car significantly?

The back seat and spare tire are easy pounds to shed. Costs nothing and easily reversible.
