Anyone else caught up in the Calgary Motorsports mess

I had a bike there on consignment, they sold the bike but I never got paid. They've now filed for bankruptcy.

I don't know what my options are now.

Kiss your money goodbye would be my guess. Those guys have had a terrible reputation for a long time. I'm surprised it took this long for them to go under. Sorry about your bad fortune.

There was an article in last months Cycle Canada about someone who had a put a deposit on the bike he wanted and the store went belly up, he describes the process he had to go through to get his money back ( he was lucky a bigger company eventually bought the place out and refunded him ) you might want to read that article.... as you will need to file a proof of claim.

So what exactly was their reputation? That they sold shitty bikes or shady? OP's story makes them seem pretty shady for sure.
