RECOVERED: 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5 Rs

Posting this up for a buddy.


Had his 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS 2 door Silver coupe stolen during the early morning hours today in the NE Rundle.

Car is silver exterior, with 04 WRX Wagon Silver rims and has a aftermarket exhaust muffler on it. I'll post up pictures and plate info when I get home but if you see this, please contact CPS or Terry at 700-9181

Yeah, they broke into his garage and drove off, not sure if any tools or such got stolen, will get more details as they come. He just took it out of hibernation and got it freshly plated and insured and this.

Also, this GC8 has the blue colored HID's for anyone keeping an eye out.

Update:


It is rolling on the 04 WRX Wagon Silver rims not GOLD rims and has a loud fartcan exhaust.


And yeah I heard about this chick but I live in Edmonton and nobody has pics of her yet.

It should be the new (ugly) 7 digit Alberta plates. He just (re)registered the car this month and left the registration papers (with receipt) in the car. :facepalm:

He'll probably have to head to the registry office to look up what his plate number was.

Hmmm, there was a Impreza (fast) with a fart can and some 18yo (TOPS) driving it, it looked just like this but silver rims... riding my ass then ripped by me as I exited off the road (69st SW) didn't get a look at the license plate, though.

Car recovered in Forest Lawn, friends going to pick it up now, will post update/pics of damage/aftermath when I get them

If the car had blue-ish HID headlights then it's most likely it.

Either way, the car has been recovered. According to the owner, the motor is blown. That's pretty much the major damage done to the car. Audio equipment is still there. They even left a CD in the deck :confused:

But it sounds like it was a bunch of kids taking it for a joyride.

Sorry, I did not reply fast enough. I saw it the day I posted (Sept12) -- it had HIDs just like you explained. I'll tell you one thing, the kid did not know how to drive (such a car, alteast), nor did he know how to drive stick... not surprised the motor is blown.
