Im planning on buying a new Lexus IS250 AWD and I dont know if they are treating me fairly. On the lexus.ca website the starting price is $40,550.00 However the quote I got from them the MSRP is $44,250 without options yet. Can somebody explain to me why is there this price difference. Thanks

Sorry wrong section can somebody move it. Thanks

Taxes, freight, dealership fees, etc are probably not included yet to the msrp.

So likely their price includes things like PDI, Freight, Destination, Tire Levy, AC Tax, GST perhaps and those kind of things that add on. When I looked at some newer audi's the PDI was almost 2K because each knob and component was wrapped in packing paper. Also the dealer might include things like floor mats, mud guards in their final quote. Whatever the case might be, make sure that you negotiate the price. Lexus IS has been out for a while if I am not mistaken and you should be able to shave off a grand or two off the price. Also have you considered slightly used one with remaining factory warranty?
