Im gonnna be picking up some HID's and was wondering which one is a "better" choice. I can't decide between the two. I do like the white of the 6 but I like the blue of the 8.

What do you guys think?

You'll get way better visibility and range out of your lights if you go with the 6K.

6k, or even 4300k. See if they have 5k, since thats a great temp for visibility. But 6k isn't at all tacky, and you'll still have great visibility.
8k? ....no thanks.

Do soarers have projectors?

6k at the absolute most, 8k looks tacky and dare I say, 'ricey'

Get some damn projectors too, I'm tired of seeing Cavalier's and Civic's with an HID beam scattered all over the friggin' road. If you really can't deal with Halogen lights, do this properly.

you can tint your headlamps just like you would a regular halogen but since xenon lights are brighter than you will be able to see a little better.. if you are looking for the most lumen then go with the 6k..

Here is an aftermarket 6000k kit on a bimmer:

Does anyone know the stock HID intensity on E9x's? Mine are awfully bright for other people and 90% people flash their lights back at me thinking they are brights... maybe it's because M3's have no fog lights?

Here is a post I made on G35driver...

Anyways, this is a photo I've seen passed around before. I find it quite helpful.

Just keep in mind that if you're buying a cheap/ebay set, it won't really be the temperature it claims to be.

And just in case it was missed the first time, get some damn projectors

Do NOT go with 8k. 5k would be ideal.

I consider anything higher rice

I've got a Kaixen 4300 kit with projectors and couldn't be happier.
