On a comparsion thread between a NSX and Z06 someone posted this picture. What caught my eye was the 300ZX. Anyone know what body it has? How about pictures of the entire car? Looks like a black hood on a widebody of some kind. One thing is for certain, the guy has some mint condition cars.

I've seen that guys NSX for sale a few times.
Are you sure that's a 300... headlights don't look like a 300 to me.
EDIT - It's a diablo... apparently they used the 300zx headlights on the diablo.

It's definately a 300ZX and not a Diablo - the guy calls it a "300ZX Widebody" in the thread. I imagine the headlights are all part of the widebody kit.

^ The '99 and up Diablos used 300zx headlights.

Turn signals don't match, and it looks like a wide body 300zx
besides, its not only the diablo where those headlights were used

I just reversed the image and then put it beside the original photo to try and see what the entire front end looks like. Not too bad. Here is the reverse image. If anyone can put them together in the same picture please attach.

Bingo! We have a winner! Looks like the back is different too. Was the notchback look a factory item?

I was never a fan of the convertibles. Mostly because from the factory they were heavy as fuck and not twin turbo'd.
But nowadays, lots of guys have converted them to twin turbos, made them fast as fuck, and done them up nicely. So you know, you never know what you're actually looking at there. Could have 700rwhp. ;-) Or more. :poosie:
Chantastic
