Well, as most of you know, the un-official Beyond.ca hauler has been in a pretty serious accident, and is out of commission. In the accident we got rear ended by a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis, and then a 2002 BMW X5 while we were stopped at a red light. So the truck's frame has buckled and is not safe to drive anymore. I am expecting the insurance company to write off the truck.
So, now I need to find a new truck to haul all the stuff beyonders need moved, rescue cars with the flat deck, get your new TV home, return your sofas that don't fit into your house to the brick, bring retardedly huge and fully assembled play sets across the city and so on.
I am looking for:
2000 or newer
lower KMs the better
4x4 is a huge plus for the winter rescues
extended cab
V8 engine
very minimal to no rust.
Must pass any inspections needed or warranted
the cheaper the better.
I am not sure how much money to be expecting from the insurance company for my truck, so I am not sure on my price at this point. I know I will have to put some cash on top, but how much remains to be seen.
Hopefully everyone can help me get a beyond.ca hauler going again soon.
