I want to buy an oil change pump locally, as seen below. For anyone who doesn't know, you pump up the canister and it draws oil out from the dipstick tube!

You could improvise and use an oil pump from CT and just add extra hosing to it.

Pretty sure princess auto carries one.
I bought the oil extractor for my TDI online, it was a small Pela one (or was it Pella?...) and I found it to be super handy, but it does have a couple issues:
1) It takes quite a bit of pumping to build sufficient vacuum within the container
2) Even with hot oil and lots of pumping it still takes 10-15 minutes to extract the oil
3) The tubing is basically the sheath of a brake cable on a bike, and after a while the sheath breaks down and it unwinds, possibly jamming in the dipstick tube

After all of that, you are able to change the oil top side and stay nice and clean, however this does not eliminate the need to get under your car and inspect things at least once or twice a year.

Vacuum pump (12v) can be sourced from numerous german make cars.

I use a plastic carboy (wine making) with a handy dual outlet cap. Cost me all of about 10$ to put it together...

Depends on your point of view and car... Engineers aren't always bright - I remember a few cars with almost inaccesible drain bolts - and it seems the rest drain all over crossmembers and make a HUGE mess. My truck on LPG - the oil is absolutely roasting hot after running; sometimes it's the cleaner and safer of the evils...

I highly recommend the Mityvac MV7201 - I've owned two, and even sold one to Benyl. I got a wicked line on them now and can get you one for $80 (List $191.09).

Mods, I don't make anything off of this.

I guess, but the drain plug is usually at the lowest point in the pan. All the crap that settles into the bottom of the pan would never get sucked up.

Unless I had to pull the engine to drain the oil, I don't think I'd ever be comfortable with just sucking "whatever I can get" out.
