Sept 15, 2010 5:15 hit and run

Hey all,

So no pictures, sorry. This is more of a post to see if it's a beyond member or a family member of a beyonder who was hit. Hopefully to catch the hit & runner.

About 5:15 today, as I left work, there was a hit and run on Crowchild Trail NW right outside of McMahon Stadium. A white mid sized SUV (blazer or jimmy) rear ended a dark green or blue minivan. I was a block away at the econolodge/best western getting my car.

The White SUV jammed into reverse and bolted down the service road that runs parallel to crowchild, passing right by me. I managed to get the plate number, but couldn't get my phone unlocked in time for a pic.

I ran towards the guy in the minivan but wasnt heard over the other cars honking and freaking out. He jumped back in the minivan and drove away. I could see damage to the bumper but nothing to prevent the vehicle driving. Sorry I couldn't catch up, nor was I close enough to get the hit person's plate.

I hope whomever it was does file a police report.. as I have as well. If you know this person, please get them to file a report. Hopefully this can connect and catch the guy.

Hit and runners should never get their licences back.

There was a hit in run today too, a car hit a 16yr on a bike. :guns: :guns:

I got hit and run 2 weeks ago. Fortunately my car was drivable and I chased the guy for 20 minutes until he finally pulled over. These guys should be shot :guns:

Car drives away
Later, at kids home, Kids mom "OMG WHAT HAPPENED??!? WHO DID IT?! WE'LL SUE FOR THAT BRUISE ON YOUR LEG!!!!

^^how is that even a hit and run?! kid was RIDING his bike across the road... and got hit, driver did stop even though if there was damage to the car the kid should be the one that has to pay for the damages... kid was fine, driver left

a bicycle has to abide by the same rules as all vehicles... he should not even be on the sidewalk to begin with

fuckin scary.. pedestrians and cycilists need to start watching out for traffic.
