A good Laptop which has served me very well though the years. I got a new laptop as a gift so this one should probably go, I have been using it up until this point for many years without a hitch. Runs wonderfully fast for all standard applications, and can play 720p/1080i encoded HD movies well. A perfect portable size, and lighter than a textbook (only 4 pounds). The screen is beautiful and great to watch movies on. It has been recently reformatted and runs like new. Loads up quickly and is an excellent PC for every day use. Using it is really a pleasure.

On the bad side, the speakers do not work, its a common problem with the speaker wire placement in the hinge. It is an easy repair if you pick up the speakers from E-bay. The battery no longer holds a charge, but like the speakers, high capacity batteries can be bought at a really good price online and will allow the notebook to put up battery life around 4.5-5 hours. Impressive! Cosmetically not great with a few scratches here and there, but no burned out pixels or missing keys.

There are a few people out the running Windows 7 on this laptop well, and that is always a possible option. Its a great option for someone who does not want to go the netbook route due to low processing power, or the lack of a built in DVD/CD drive, or want a screen/keyboard which is easier to look at/use.

Priced well at $160.
