hey guys, can someone tell me if a d16y8 engine will fit in a 92 civic h/b dx? i don't know much about swaps but if it'll drop in, how easy would it be and would i have to change anything? any advice would be great, thanks in advance

SHould be a straight drop in?
Does that motor have Vtec?

It's a direct bolt-in the only thing you will have to change is the driver side mount. If i'm correct that motor is from a 96-up civic and the driver side mount is different.

direct bolt on!... you would need ecu and harness too, you might have to change your tranny to a Si tranny just to avoid problems and hassles!:thumbsup:

where do i get a harness from?
if the motor comes with a tranny, will i need a different one?
