so im picking up my house in 10 days.
but the builder is still working on the house.
The bank wants the house 97% completed before the send out and appraiser. Chances are they wont get the appraisal till this friday/monday of next week. So in theory Bank will probably not release mortgage instruction to lawyer till Monday/tuesday of next week but that leaves the lawyer 2-3 days to have funds transfered to builder.
I dont want to name names for now, this whole ordeal has made me fustrated as fuck.
So in the event the builder doesnt receive money for possession date, who is liable for the late fees?
EDIT: Both parties are telling to go after the other party.
