what does this weigh? No estimates please. I can look up specs myself. Have you gone to a truck stop or the hiway self weigh locations?

1580kg with a full tank of gas, my work gear in the trunk (60lbs-ish), myself (215lbs) and a bunch of mud from a previous rally-x still stuck to the underside haha.

I went to the weigh scale on Hwy 2 between Calgary and Airdrie.

1580 kilograms = 3 483.30374 pounds

-215-60=275

3208 minus mud.

Seems a bit on the heavy side, but eh, I am not a mechanic. I bet there is more room to get the weight down.

free bump for you.

No matter how you look at it you are going to be a fair bit heavier than a stock RS...STi's aren't exactly lightweight now are they? All that extra gear adds up.

I just looked it up, and the stock RS was 2825lbs, so you add 400 lbs but also add 200hp and 220 tq. Seems like a good deal to me

:D

Got pics of interior and engine... quite prestine considering its age... and the transplant is gorgeous

I thought the body was more than decent... could use a respray but not necessary IMO... just gotta say that I finally saw a very nice 2dr STI that is NOT RHD in Calgary... bump this puppy for awesomeness at an epic and legendary scale:clap:
