Anyone know the reason why Saneal Camera's website is down? I have been trying to access it for a few days...

yeah...do a search with the date set to forever for Saneal...you're not really missing out.

Not really, we could always make the others price match them as it seemed saneal would always give the best price lol. Granted I'm finding now vistek is giving me prices the camera store can't beat without even asking for them. Hmmm buy a few pro level bodies and some pricy lenses and they treat you good lol.

See I don't want to have to spend $10k to get some decent customer service. TCS is the only store that gets my business

Vistek and Saneal have terrible return policies. I always shop at the camera store if I can.

that's weird...I've had no problems with returns at Vistek :dunno:

I walked in and Noel was like I have your mug here for you. I was like fuck, I completely forgot about that :D

Not to mention TCS can't match or beat any of the prices vistek provides me with. The buying power the stores has is not equal to what vistek has. Vistek has carries a wider variety of brand names.

They have restrictions on "pro" equipment. You can get around it but it is a pain.

Not from my experiences. So long as you aren't returning a week old camera body there has never been a problem for me.

I've also returned a 70-200 VR1 to them with no hassle at all.

Regarding Vistek's pricematching... I want to buy the Nikon 24-70 F2.8, I've already rented it and tried it out from TCS, so that's 30$ already going towards the lens.

Do you guys think Vistek could still give me a better deal knowing I've already have 30$ invested at TCS? Will either throw in a discount on a filter?

I'm planning on picking up the lens this Thursday, so I am hoping to get an idea of what to expect when I go there, I am partial to Vistek...

My honest guess is no but if you politely ask they will price match and then beat the competitors price by a bit.

In the end I didn't have time to run around trying to get pricematches, so I just grabbed it at the Camera Shop...

Now I have to convince the wife to let me buy a wide angle lens to go with this one....
