I searched but could not find.

Post your favorite rif/solo - the kind that gives you that little shiver when you hear it.

I really like the little rif Disturbed has in "Another way to die"

Gunslinger - A7x also pretty sweet (actually i enjoy all of A7X guitar work)

Should add the obligatorys:

Metallica - one, fade to black (disturbed had a cool live version of this from music as a weapon tour) , nothing else matters
Ozzy - Mr Crowley
GnR - November Rain, Cival War
Pantera - Cemetary Gates
Dream Theatre - Forsaken
Yngwie Malmstein - lots of songs

09-21-2010, 06:38 PM
HOW TO EMBED VIDS:
such as in this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYlx5gW90Aw
each Youtube video will have a " aYlx5gW90Aw "
at the end of it. Copy that, now in the advanced mode; you just click on the "Youtube" button and inject that copied blurb of letters & numbers into it, and thats that. Done.

here is the end result

Also, I agree with Mr. Crowley 1000%. Here's a pretty good take on it:

That solo that starts at 7:09 is just scorching.

But my all time favorite Jerry solo...
vsKOXDUh2Y0

Starts at around 8:10. You just can't beat that gradual crescendo. I still get chills when listening to it. Jerry is pretty darn underrated as a guitarist. I never see him mentioned whenever people talk about their favorites, unless they're a deadhead, haha...

I saw Broderick live wih Jag panzer back in 98/99 and I can tell you that that guy has awesome stage presence. I was ready to go gay for him right then and there, but unfortunately nothing came out of it. Instead I ended up chatting wirh Harry "the Tyrant" Conklin after the show, whom I wasn't interested in making out with.
