I was in your shop recently, dealt with Jayson. Test drove both a GSR and MR. Like the dual clutch but not worth the price difference. The SE seems like the idea version, was told that '11 versions won't be in until January, worth the wait though.

SE's have already been released in the US as 2010 models as new owners have posted their pics at evolutionm.net. Not sure if Canada will be getting the SE in 2010 or 2011 models.

I wonder what these will be priced at? Closer to the GSR or closer to the MR when it's all said and done.

Not sure about Canadian pricing but in the US it's pretty well right in between GSR and Base MR pricing.

The VIII? They had a pair of IX's for the summer but both have gone to new owners..

SE adds over GSR:

-Twin-Clutch Sportronic Shift Transmission (TC-SST)
-Two-piece Brembo front brake rotors
-Xenon HID headlamps
-SE badging
-Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs
-Rear lip spoiler (replaces low-profile rear wing)
-Heated Recaro bucket seats (front)

hmmmmm... so its the gsr with handling package and the mr tranny

Sweet. I was considering a ralliart because of the dual-clutch. Might have to test drive both and see what I like better.

also, grab an Evo while you can, these are gonna be replacing it apparently. even though it says concept, mitsubishi seems pretty firm on pushing these thru the assembly line.... :(

Well Mitsu is saying they're confident the next EVO will be a plug-in hybrid, but its definitely NOT going to look like that. That rendering was done by Best Car mag.

Plus the HIDs, and minus the BBS rims.

If it was right in the middle of GSR and MR pricing I would totally have picked up the SE instead of the GSR.

Subaru America had an amazing intro sales for the new, lower priced, STis.
SE is a good move from the Mitsubishi team. Good looks, priced one in Seattle at 38000 USD

Just talked to the sales guy at Platinum, told me no SE's are coming to Canada (he talked to the manager)

I don't believe that, I'm in no rush so I'll wait and see what comes then I'll go buy it somewhere else.

They still have a few 2010's I'm sure those will drop in price once the 2011's arrive especially if they follow subaru and drop the MSRP across the line.

as much as i like the evo, the price difference between it and the sti is getting a little bit ridiculous

Yes, the gsr. Wouldnt buy an mr way too much money for what it is.

I agree gpomp the STi is way better value, may go that route instead. Or ill go to the states and buy one
